Hi, I’m Kavya, founder of Oddly Yours.

After spending five years in creative industry and three years in London working as a visual designer in advertising and marketing, I found myself drawn to the small, thoughtful things I would discover on everyday walks. A mug, a candle, a card, a little object that didn’t cost much but somehow made the day feel better.

When I moved back home to India, I realised I missed that feeling. I wanted to find gifts and everyday objects that felt quirky, useful, affordable and beautifully designed. Things that could make someone smile without needing a big occasion or a big budget. But I found that most options were either too generic or too expensive.

Oddly Yours was born from that gap.

As a designer, I wanted to create objects that don’t feel randomly made or picked off a shelf. Every product begins with a concept, a mood, or a small story. From the design to the packaging, the idea is to make even mundane things like mugs, candles, cards and coasters feel personal, joyful and a little unexpected.

For me, gifting is not just about the product. It is about making someone feel remembered. Life can be busy, stressful and overwhelming, and sometimes the smallest gesture can say the most.

My hope is that Oddly Yours becomes a place for those small but meaningful moments, whether you are buying something for yourself or for someone you love.

One day, I dream of building a colourful, joyful store full of curious objects and thoughtful gifts. A place that feels like stepping into a world of little surprises.
